Thermal Oil Heater
Controlled heating for bitumen and process circuits.
The thermal oil heater circulates heat transfer oil and carries heat to bitumen tanks and appropriate process lines. The burner, coil, circulation pump and control system work together. Boiler selection is made according to the total need of the equipment to be heated at the same time and the installation losses.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT FOR YOUR PRODUCTION LINE
PRODUCTION FLOW
How it works in three steps.
The task of the unit, associated equipment and the route of the material.
Heating the oil
The heat provided by the burner is transferred to the heat transfer oil via the coil.
Circulation in circuit
The pump circulates thermal oil between tank coils and projected consumption points.
controlled rotation
The oil in the return line comes back to the boiler. Temperature, pressure and flow-related controls monitor operating patterns.
INSIDE THE EQUIPMENT
Main components and their functions.
The housing, drive and control components are assessed together with production and maintenance requirements.
Heating coil and heater body
The test scope defined coil and multi-pass body constitute the main part of the heat transfer.
burner group
The choice of diesel, gas or fuel oil is made according to the scope of the burner and fuel installation.
circulation pump
It ensures that the oil reaches the consumption points with the required flow. Pumps and fittings are selected according to the circuit.
control board
Temperature management, operating commands and warnings are monitored from the control panel.
Safety and measurement
Temperature, pressure and related safety elements are defined in the boiler and installation design.
Chimney and plumbing
Chimney, insulation, valves and line connections are planned together with the layout and heating load.
TECHNICAL CONFIGURATION
Specify the right equipment for your plant.
It is based on your production target and selected configuration, rather than a standard number.
| Feature | Options / design considerations |
|---|---|
| Capacity options | 250,000–3,000,000 kcal/hour; according to the project |
| Use | Bitumen tanks and suitable process heating circuits |
| Fuel | Depending on the selected burner equipment |
| Control | Temperature and pressure monitoring, safety equipment |
Selection and integration
Initial heating requirement, simultaneous consumers, line lengths and insulation are also important as tank volume. Burner brand, panel protection class and chimney options are specified within the scope of the offer. Pressure class and conformity documents are evaluated according to the selected boiler design.
OPERATION AND SERVICE
Maintenance access is part of the design.
Equipment tracking, automation connections and service planning are handled within the same production chain.
Inspection and preventive maintenance
The condition of the heat transfer oil, pump, valves, leaks, burner and safety elements are checked. Filters and heating surfaces are included in the maintenance plan. Commissioning and maintenance are carried out in accordance with the boiler manufacturer’s instructions and authorized service practices.
Automation and technical support
Sensors, operating commands and safety interlocks are evaluated together with the existing control system. Maintenance and adjustments are made according to the equipment user manual and authorized service procedures. Get technical support →
