POWERASPHALT / PLANT COMPONENTS
Twin-Shaft Asphalt Mixer
Combine aggregate, mineral filler and bitumen in a controlled batch.
The asphalt mixer combines separately weighed aggregate, mineral filler and bitumen into hot mix asphalt. Twin shafts, mixing arms and paddles distribute the materials throughout the mixing chamber. Batch size and cycle time are selected to match the plant production plan.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT FOR YOUR PRODUCTION LINE
PRODUCTION FLOW
How it works in three steps.
The task of the unit, associated equipment and the route of the material.
separate weighing
Aggregate, filler and bitumen are measured in their own weighing groups according to the recipe.
Controlled mixing
The ingredients are transferred to the mixer. Synchronized shafts and angled paddles operate throughout the designated mixing cycle.
Unloading and shipping
The completed mixture is taken through pneumatic covers to the finished hot mix bunker or the selected loading device.
INSIDE THE EQUIPMENT
Main components and their functions.
The housing, drive and control components are assessed together with production and maintenance requirements.
Double shaft and synchronous drive
The motor-gearbox group ensures that opposite shafts work together. Torque and power selection is made according to the batch load.
Mixing arms and paddles
The angled layout promotes the circulation of material in the mixing chamber. Wearing elements are replaced within the scope of maintenance.
Wear liners
Special cast linings protect the body. Material options such as Ni-Hard are evaluated according to the equipment scope.
Aggregate weighing assembly
The load-cell-supported weigh hopper measures the recipe quantity of screened aggregate. Discharge gates then feed it to the mixer.
Bitumen and filler weigh hoppers
Separate weighing machines measure binder and mineral additive. Filler discharge screw and bitumen jacket structure are selected according to the project.
Pneumatic discharge gates
The piston valve mechanism controls the discharge of the mixture. Position and safety locks are planned with automation.
TECHNICAL CONFIGURATION
Specify the right equipment for your plant.
It is based on your production target and selected configuration, rather than a standard number.
| Feature | Options / design considerations |
|---|---|
| mixing order | Twin-shaft batch mixer |
| weighing | Independent scales for aggregate, filler and bitumen |
| Wear parts | Interchangeable paddle, arm and liner layout |
| Batch capacity | Depending on the selected asphalt plant model |
Selection and integration
Mixer fill level, batch mass, mix range and total cycle time are assessed together. Batch size, weigh-hopper capacity and load-cell arrangement are specified for each model. Aggregate, filler and bitumen weighing are calibrated with the control system.
OPERATION AND SERVICE
Maintenance access is part of the design.
Equipment tracking, automation connections and service planning are handled within the same production chain.
Inspection and preventive maintenance
Maintenance monitors paddle and liner wear, shaft seals, gearboxes and discharge-gate operation. The programme includes weighing-system calibration, sensors and the bitumen line. Mix quality is checked against the recipe and laboratory results.
Automation and technical support
Sensors, operating commands and safety interlocks are evaluated together with the existing control system. Maintenance and adjustments are made according to the equipment user manual and authorized service procedures. Get technical support →
